Iran Tractor Forging Company, as the largest and best-equipped hot forging plant in the country and the Middle East, was separated from Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company in 1987 and registered under number 4055 in the Tabriz Companies Registry. After separation, the majority of its shares belonged to Iran Tractor Manufacturing Company and then to the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran. In 2000, in line with government policies, the majority of the company's shares were transferred by the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran through the stock exchange to the private sector. Finally, in 2009, the majority of the company's shares were transferred to the current management (Bavilay family).
Iran Tractor Forging Company, on an area of about 11 hectares with a covered area of 100,000 square meters, has an annual production capacity (considering the variety of parts) of about 35,000 tons.
