Proper planning in the production of molds and their control is essential for effectively utilizing materials, equipment, human resources, and the capacities of the workgroup. Additionally, it involves providing structured plans to various mold production groups and placing orders with suppliers based on production needs. The mission of the planning and control unit for molds is to prepare a production schedule for mold manufacturing after receiving orders through the planning department. This is done by assessing the initial status and aligning it with the capacity of the pressing machines. The prepared schedule is then handed over to the mold workshop for execution. Once produced, the molds are referred to the mold control for approval, and subsequently, a letter and confirmation document are sent to the mold warehouse for registration in the company’s inventory system.
