The Cutting Department is responsible for cutting all raw materials and consistently, 24 hours a day, cuts billets into pieces according to the cutting control program. Cutting is performed using both saw and guillotine methods.

Equipment

The cutting equipment includes:

• 4 Wagner saws
• 4 Band saws
• 1250-ton guillotine
• 750-ton guillotine
• 500-ton guillotine

A development plan for the cutting department is currently being prepared. To increase its capacity, new equipment is planned. Additionally, the department is responsible for sharpening the cutting tools.
